Sneak Peek at Chapter 11 of Broken

Here is a sneak peek at chapter 11 of Broken. I hope it leaves you wanting more. ;)

"Jasper, it's me, Bella," I whispered, my eyes wide as they darted around the room. "I can't talk, but I want you to know that I need to see you as soon as possible. I need your help. I'm at your parents' house right now, but I'm going back to the apartment with Edward in a couple of hours. Please don't show up or call me until I call you back and let you know it's safe. I can't risk anyone getting hurt, understand?"
I hung up without giving him the chance to respond, hoping he would do exactly as I said. If not, I could almost guarantee that bad things were going to happen.

So...what did you guys think?

I promise you, if my beta gets it back to me by then, it will be up tomorrow. She's quite good about doing these things in a day, so the full thing should be posted sometime in the next 24 hours.

Friday Fiction Fun

Once again, it is Friday. Once again, I'm a super slacker. *feels embarrassed* But I do promise that I have been working on some good stuff and you guys won't be disappointed.

I know the above video has nothing to do with fiction or what I've been working on, but I do find it hilarious and it gives me a small boost of motivation every time I watch it, so I had to share. Obviously it's not mine, although I do make fan vids.

Anyway, here is what I've been working on for the past few days:

1. Chapter 11 of Broken. I'm sending it to my beta shortly and it will hopefully be posted later tonight or tomorrow.

2. Finishing up my zombie one shot. I had a bout of creativity and went back to tweak what I'd already written. Now I just need to finish the last little bit of it and it'll be ready to go.

3. My secret one shot I can't say anything about. I've sent it in and all I can do is wait for it to be accepted.

I may start working on a video for Broken, just because I haven't made a video in months and feel the need to get back into doing so. If you want to see any of my other vids, my YouTube account is here.

Make Me Moan Monday

It's that time again! What time is that, you may ask? Why, it's Make Me Moan Monday again.

Today's MMM fic rec is brought to you by the letter M and the number 28. Why? Because it is, that's why.

As you can see from the picture over to your left, today's fic is an ExB one. Shocker, I know. But I promise this story will make you feel very hot and bothered, even if you're not a fan of Edward.

The List is a post-Eclipse fanfic that centers around the weeks leading up the Edward and Bella's wedding. It pretty much ignores Breaking Dawn, so there will be no Renesmee involved. Got it? Good. Let's move on.

The basic plot of The List is this: Bella is becoming increasingly frustrated with Edward's lack of motivation to be intimate, so she starts fantasizing about what she'd like to do with/to him, keeping a list as she goes along. When Edward discovers the list, naughty times happen. ;)

It's just a light bit of fluff with some hot, steamy, juicy lemons thrown in to make it awesome. The List is written by LauraACullen and can be found on Fanfiction.net and Twilighted(I do believe). There is also a French translation that is NOT complete yet.

If you're willing to give an ExB fic a shot, this is the one I'd suggest you sample first. I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as I did. :D

It's finally Friday!

Ugh, okay, so I have been a super slacker lately when it comes to updating my blog, but I've been busy working on some one-shots and didn't have the motivation to post anything here. Yeah, I'm lazy like that.

Anyway, here is what I've been up to that has kept me away from my blog:

1. I just recently did a one-shot for the Bathed in Black contest that is being hosted over at The Reluctant Reader's blog. The contest focuses on Jacob Black, who I definitely prefer over Edward, but not as much as Jasper. ♥
The deadline for entries is February 7th, so if you'd like to enter, get writing! My story is a slash fic that involves Edward and Jacob; Edward being the submissive bitch, of course. :)

My story isn't quite done yet, but it will be shortly. I have fun plans for the Cullen family and Bella, too. Can't forget about her, now can we?

Make Me Moan Monday

Hello, hello. Hope you're all having a lovely Monday.

For today, I've decided to review the first fic in a JxB trilogy. It's definitely one of my favorites and also fits the theme I've created for Monday blogs.

The photo manip above is NOT mine, obviously. The credit is on it; I just Googled manips and thought this one would be perfect for the story.

Anyway, the fic I'm going to review is A Lesson in Release(the other two fics are A Lesson in Fate and A Lesson in Love) by Lillie Cullen.

A Lesson in Release was one of the first JxB fics I ever read and I instantly became hooked. Lillie's writing is fantastic and makes me wish that Jasper had, in fact, been with Bella instead of Alice. Yeah, it's that good.

ALiR starts out with Edward going hunting with his family, leaving Bella alone and sexually frustrated at the Cullens. Jasper, Rosalie and Emmett have also stayed behind. Once Rose and Emmett become 'preoccupied,' Jasper goes to Bella and offers to teach her to ease her frustration so he can stop feeling so overwhelmed. Bella agrees and discovers that listening to Jasper's voice and ministrations make her feel even more hot and bothered, but in a good way.

After the lesson, Alice and Jasper begin drifting apart and Edward becomes extremely possessive. I can't really give anything else away without spoiling the story, so I'll stop now.

There are enough JxB lemons to make even the naughtiest JxB fan blush and boy, do they make you wish you could be Bella. ;) There is also drama, a little bit of angst and non-lemony romance. A nice little mix of emotions to keep you wanting more.

This fic is complete, obviously, as are the two sequels. So, if you're in need of some new JxB lovin', I'd suggest giving the Lessons trilogy a whirl. I guarantee you'll thank me for this rec later.

Frisky Friday Fic Rec

So I've decided to post a fic rec every Friday; something mature that I think you fellow Twi-fic addicts would enjoy.

My first Frisky Friday Fic rec is Learning to Kneel by sneakysnarkysubs. This is a collaboration between Lady Blue Knight and Siobhan2006. The story can be found on both Twi-Write and Fanfiction.net.

Learning to Kneel is a Jasper/Bella fic that is very different from most JxB fics I've read. It's also very mature and is not for anyone under 18 or anyone who can't handle dark themes and non-consensual M/s relationships. There are some graphic descriptions in the story, so if you're easily bothered, I'd advise you to tread lightly while reading, if you do so at all.

The basic plot/premise of the story is this: Bella Swan, daughter of Police Chief Charlie Swan, finds herself abducted and rendered unconscious one morning. When she awakens, she discovers she's in the back of a van, being taken to God knows where. Upon her arrival, she is cleaned and primped by another woman named Makenna, who tells her that she is very valuable to the man who has bought her and that if she wants to survive, she must obey. Then she is handed over to her Master, Jasper Whitlock. Will she be able to survive his demanding, dominant ways? Read it and find out.

Broken - A Darkward Story

Howdy ho, my fellow Twi-fic fanatics. 'Tis I, Jasmine aka jazz2122 on Twi-Write and jazztastic1 on fanfiction.net.

For my first blog post, I want to introduce you all to my first ever attempt at a Darkward story. It's called Broken and is currently 9 chapters in.

Broken is a very angsty story that contains adult themes; it's rated MA for a reason. These themes include rape, violence, language and physical/emotional abuse. Don't like that sort of thing? Don't read it. Just a fair warning.

Edward Cullen is the perfect boyfriend, or so Bella Swan thinks. He's handsome, charming and takes very good care of her. That is, until one day, everything changes. He begins abusing Bella in every way he possibly can. She is too afraid to tell anyone because she knows they won't believe her. Even her own father, the Chief of Police, believes Edward is a model citizen. There is only one person who can save her...if he dares: Jasper Cullen, Edward's older brother. Will he get to her in time or will it be too late to save this woman who is broken?

She was finally broken; I could see it in her eyes and the way she carried herself. The pain I felt in my heart for her was nothing compared to the anger I felt towards him.

He disgusted me and sickened me. How could anyone be so cruel? There was no reason for it, yet he seemed to revel in the horrible things he did and said, uncaring of the physical and emotional trauma that was heaped upon her on a daily basis.

I never understood what she saw in him. How could anyone be with someone like that. Someone who ridiculed and abused constantly for their own twisted pleasure? It bothered me to no end that she suffered and I knew I had to do something to save her, before it was too late.

There were just two problems with this whole thing: One, he was my brother and two, she was the chief of police's daughter.

How her father never knew what was going on was also beyond me. I would have told him to save her if I could, but her father adored my brother and I knew he'd never believe me. He was also rarely home, preferring to spend his time fishing with his friends or at the station working.

I loved this girl more than anything in the world, but she only had eyes for my brother. Nothing he did or said could break the hold he had on her; I assumed that was because she was both in love with him and terrified of him at the same time.

I couldn't stand to see her so used and abused. I knew, now that he had finally broken her, that I was going to have to be the one to save her.

If only I knew how...
